Coming to Lakewood for a day of shopping and eating! Tell me your secret spots ladies. I know my friend wants to eat lunch at Kalmata but dinner I don't want just a basic steak house. Any really good meat restaurants? What shops are a must stop at?

Entree is amazing but if don’t want regular fleishig steak house Then estreia and lampost are fancier more expensive than entree.

Went to lamp post this week and it's truly an experience, not just a flieshig restaurant, but the ambiance is truly unique

Looking at menu Entree looks delicious but a standard steak house which I don't love.

Gulp, no prices listed which I realized contributes to the exclusivity feeling of the restaurant. How much are we talking here?

We went all out, didn't hold back, got the San pelligrino, 2 appetizers, 2 mains, I got a cocktail, my husband got a beer, 2 desserts, and a drink with the dessert too... came out to $400
But the average steak is $70-80, dessert was $20 I think, cocktail $18...
(This was including a tip)

I like keepshuto. Not fancy at all, but really good food.
I want to try out smokehouse, but I haven't yet.
Charq food is a little different than your typical steakhouse.

Do you want fancy?
Do you want Israeli shwarma? Kipshuto makes amazing shwarma, baby chicken. But zero ambience. They do have outdoor seating but fast food type serving
Or good chicken sandwich?
Israeli food in nicer ambience?(hamisada in Howell)

I am a foodie and live in a ambiance lacking environment so while I don't care about "fancy" I do like a cool/hip restaurant if that makes sense.

You’ll like Smokey Hill. It’s new and I was pretty impressed with the ambience and food. It reminded me of Bison and Bourbon.

If not looking to spend $$$ then hamisada may work.
Food is Israeli - lots of options
Decor is fantastic, modern
You can order at table or counter. Food is brought to table.
Prices are reasonable
Cons:
Service wasn’t great
Not enough pitas (need a lot for some of the foods).
Entree is good for $150/couple
Lamppost will be over $200 couple

Have you been out to eat recently or is this older info? most online prices are outdated. Went to Estreia recently and bill was $200 for 2 appetizers and 2 mains. I'm pretty sure Entree prices are higher
