A relative of mine wants to buy my Doona, it was used for less than a year and has been in storage for 2 years. New doonas are $550
What can I price it at?

I paid $275 in a similar situation and thought that was fair.

Car seats have an expiration. So besides being used, it's also 3 years old, which means the buyer will likely only be able to use it for 1 baby. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $200 for it.

I need some insight, hope I can bump this up..

Wow.
Now I really appreciate my sibling for giving me their doona when the baby turned 15 months old and I gave birth then, had a newborn.
I used it for 16 months and then I passed it onto a friend for 6 months and then to my sil that used it for a yr and just returned it. And Im due iyh shortly .

Deciding though if I should buy a new doona,
Moneys not an issue bh but I dont want to be wasteful, but this doona went through so much love and doesnt wheel great anymore..
Im sure I'll be able to give it away here to someone though?

What would you do?
Also.my younger kids are all about 3 yrs apart)
And I hope this baby isn't my last..

There already IS a Doona Gemach in Lakewood. I don’t have her number handy tho but definitely worth looking into if you need a doona and can’t afford one. They let you use it for a year or so. Non medical ppl

Nobody needs a doona and can't afford it.
There are excellent car seats out there that are a fraction of the price.
We all managed without an overpriced car seat (even with the snap n go it's still way cheaper) for many years before the doona was invented. A snap n go was considered a very convenient thing for taking the car seat in and out.

You can replace the wheels that’s probably why it’s not pushing that well

Agree.

I'm so happy to live in a small community. I can't fathom how a luxury baby item could become seen as such a necessity that there's literally a gemach for it.

Yes, I started pricing it online, and once I replace the wheels and buy new material and new hood, I can buy a new doona already, +$200 more..

Thanks everyone,
I will update this post iyh. When I will pass it on.

I live in Lakewood, not a small community. But I don't care!
My youngest is four, but I hope to have more iy"H, and I have no problem taking out my old car seat and snap n go!
