I have 2 boys (with a girl in between) that have very similar nicknames (that rhyme;)
We sometimes mix them up- like under pressure or something- but they don’t seem to mind, they just correct us.
They both like their names bh.
Just might grow out of their nicknames one day...

Dina and Adina.
Totally different names and meanings, not variations of the same as others posted above, but very similar in sound.
It's almost impossible to get the correct one on the phone on first try

Thanks everyone for your input!! It's really helpful.
For the person asking why my family is telling me to name after the grandparent, this really could be a whole post in itself. BH I am aware that it's not the best dynamic to have. The issue is that the repercussions will be that the spouse of said grandparent will be very unhappy if I don't name that name My own parents wouldn't push me otherwise... Unfortunately everyone is fearful of this grandparent, and I would be fine naming the name if I didn't have this concern of names being similar.
