What did you use? It’s been a while since my last one and that involved a several week NICU stay, so I was healed by the time the baby came home.

I just used the bassinet that fit on top of my pack-n-play. I don't know if it's the best, but it worked for me after all 5 of my c-sections.

I used the Halo bassinet. It’s the perfect height so didn’t have to bend over

If this OP is the OP of the other thread -- Hi! I'm the one who said I borrowed my friend's bassinet. And yes, it was the Halo.

Not the same OP, but sounds like halo or the like is getting a lot of recommendations!! Thanks!

Lol! (the cool comment, not your matzav, whatever it may be)
Beezras Hashem you should be able to grow your family the way you would love to, and don't let anyone without real medical or halachic expertise tell you otherwise!

I'm so sorry if you're going through a rough time.
If you want, I can un-anonymous myself for just a bit so you can pm me.
I'm happy to talk, share, or just listen.

Not a bassinet but I used the dokatot. Kept it on my bed for months and basically rolled to my side to feed

I had c sections and with my last one I had a halo and a lullyboo. Even though the halo comes up to your bed I still found it took effort (and use of stomach muscles-painful!) to put he baby in the halo. I ended up putting the lulyboo in my bed and the baby loved that and it was so easy for me. I also loved how easy it was to bring it with us whenever we were going to someone’s house or out of town and my baby had his own “bed” that he was used to. I highly recommend!

Another vote for the halo!
Didn’t have a
C-section but I know it’s recommended for c-section moms

Not only does is come up over the bed, the side can be pushed down so you dont have to reach over it to pick up baby
