Does anyone know how serious this is?
Are people really moving there?
How chassidish?
I heard that the Rabbi Moskowitz backed out... not sure if it's true... Is it?
Anyone have real details?

I applied together with some friends. The idea of it looked and sounded great. The execution of it is poor. I would maybe associate myself as somewhat chassidish. But I don't want to be lumped together with a bunch of assorted chassidim that don't have a place. If it was catering to a BY crowd, it would attract more and be more realistic. I also think they need a base. Either a yeshiva or kollel to form the core group. Otherwise I feel like it's unrealistic and will fall through.

their plan is to have a cheder/school from the start. from what I understood, is that they are not starting until they have alot of families, and structures in place

A big issue is parnassah.
It's too far to drive to jobs, people will have to either work from home, get the limited jobs on the community, open or run a business or commute and come home for Shabbos or something like that or commute 2 hours each way to work in somewhere like Boca that is not full of job openings.
Otherwise, it sounds like it can be a great idea overall.
