I am dealing with the same...it is very hard. I do not cry with her but rather give some empathy and let her know I have faith things will get better and that she can help effect that change. This because if I cry it will show I feel helpless and that the situation is helpless and she is really a nebach..
My daughter is seeing a social worker. The focus is on building confidence.

A thought about witching classes, I'm not such a fan as it is possible that the same situation can happen again if it isn't dealt with..
