Sifting through the rubble collected at the archealogical digs for interesting finds. It's great fun for adults and kids.
Ir David organizes these activities - you can book through their website.

When are you coming and with whom are you travelling?

You'll probably want to avoid the lower Negev in summer, but otherwise, there is a lot to see there. Mitzpe Ramon, Ein Gedi, Ein Avdat are all beautiful.

Tons to see in Yerushalayim. Kotel tunnels, Machon Beit HaMikdash, Ir David, etc. The Hebrew Music Museum is unique and interesting. The Temple Mount Sifting project is excellent.

In the north you have many water hikes ( Banias, Yehudiya, etc.). Plus ancient Tzfat, Akko, etc.

You have many, many choices.

Thanks for all these suggestions!
It's for close to Pesach time with a small group of upper teen Bais Yaakov girls.
So nothing extreme/thrill and not overly challenging if it's a hike or requires physical exertion.

I'm not a fan of theirs but it's not okay to spread misinformation.
