Hmmm a summary?
Well, approximately 34 years ago, on a nice bright sunny day (actually I think I made that part up) a beautiful (that I for sure didn't make up!) baby girl was born to a nice, becoming-frum couple in Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York, NY.
They named their little princess, um, a nice Jewish name.
Said princess grew up in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, NY and went to one of the many wonderful Bais Yaakov schools in the neighborhood.
When Princess turned 19 years old, she found a wonderful Yeshiva bochur whom she decided to spend her life with. They married and moved to Lakewood, Ir HaTorah, and lived happily ever after!

I was born in South America, don’t want to say which country cuz those that know me IRL and are on here will know right away who I am.
I grew up speaking Spanish at home and learned English in school. English is my preferred language now.
My upbringing was normal. Got married young. Have 2 kids. I love learning about all different types of people. The parenting forum and all relationship/people related forums are the most intriguing to me. I love hearing the many different perspectives there are out there and I learn A LOT from so many imas here.
As I said, nothing special to share. |

Another boring amother here. I used to be the queen of the small country I grew up in. I have since given over the throne to my son, the king. Now I play golf and relax in fancy resorts and enjoy my retirement.

Became baal tesguva at 12. became a vegetarian just so I wouldn't have to eat at home . Graduated at 17, married at 18, first kid at 19. I have 2 bachelor's degrees, only one I actually use.

I'm Amother, one of many
So my street cred's not worth a penny.
I have kids, more than a few
So in parenting I have my view.
People say I'm very smart
In advice-giving I have an art.
You've seen me here, you've seen me there
Cuz I have opinions and like to share.
My fashion sense is outdated and tragic
My cooking is just quick and magic.
Function over form in my book,
My house is messy, come take a look!
I rent a house, don't own one yet
Thanks to tuition I'm deep in debt.
My self esteem needs to be hiked
I get a rush when my post is liked.
And my day is made, though it sounds queer
When someone posts "that's just what I needed to hear."
My sense of humor is quite eclectic
Though my kids think I'm pathetic.
My kids range from baby to teen
With lots of others in between.
Some kids are easy, some not quite
I've made mistakes and tried to set them right.
I've struggled with depression and ADHD
And a solid sense of inferiority.
I like to share my lows in an empathetic tone
So others know they're not alone.
I feel expectations take too much of a toll
Perfection should not be a goal.
So I skip baths if I'm not in the mood
And wear my good old-fashioned snood.
But I post anonymously anyway
So I'm judged not by who I am, but by what I say.

I married an Israeli FFB guy.
Living in NY
Hopefully moving back to e"y
We speak hebrew at home to our baby. I love reading and cooking and sharing and getting new recipes.

I rule in another country. overthrew the king and now I'm the queen.
currently enjoying the view from the throne while eating unlimited and sometimes excessive amounts of ice cream.
