Bought a new urn a few weeks ago. The water continuously tastes like burnt plastic. I keep emptying and refilling but the taste won’t go away. Anyone had this? Should I call the company?

ugh
I have found that many of the nicer urns have a plastic ring or something inside which you can see which gives it a plastic disgusting taste. I cannot use them. Went back to my old model.

Hi
Just wanted to let you know I brought my urn to the company in Chestnut Ridge (next to monsey) and they gave me a new urn that’s a different model. Didn’t open the box yet but they said this urn shouldn’t have the burnt plastic taste problem

Wow thank you so much for that update

I did call before and they told me to bring the urn in. 201-785-8840
I plugged in the new urn and there’s no burnt smell bH.
Hatzlacha
Btw is your urn the type with no pump, just a spout on the bottom with a safety feature?
