Best Burgers
1 lb. ground meat
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp coriander

Combine ingredients. Divide mixture into 4 balls. Shape and flatten into very thin large burgers.
Grill, or bake uncovered at 425 for 20 minutes.

They really are the best burgers.

What can I substitute curry powder & coriander with?

If you enjoy cumin you can use 3/4 tsp cumin, and 1/4 tsp turmeric if you have, instead of the combination of the 3 spices. Don't forget the fresh garlic.

I just made these burgers last night and they were gobbled up in two minutes and were so easy to make. (I made more)

I usually use lamb (fresh parsley ) but these came out really good middle easterny just the way we like them!

Thank you!!

Ques about hamburgers- what is the difference between grilling and baking?
Can you grill them on a grill pan? for how long?
Thanks!

You will get a very different texture.

Hamburgers are generally seared so they have a nice crust on each side and are a bit rare in the middle.

When you bake meat you typically don't get the difference in texture.

If you don't have a grill, pan sautéing a hamburger is preferable to baking it. Most hamburger joints cook their burgers on a flat surface to get the sear which adds to the "taste".
