As I watch the videos coming from Meron it’s hard not to get emotional thinking about what happened last year.
Can we share some inspiration about Lag B’Omer/ Meron/ R’ Shimon?
Why do we dance, what are we celebrating. I know R’ Shimon brought the light of the Zohar into the world, but looking for more details/something beyond that.

I was inspired watching the boyan rabbi lighting a candle for every person that passed last year and saying the name. The somber singing with zero music and the crowd of every type of person in one circle together

People struggling with infertility or only had girls and promised to name a son after Reb Shimon has made many zocha to children I actually know a few Shimon’s
