Is there a Chasidishe brand of sugar cubes?

I need them for a Pidyon Haben and I want to make sure that everyone uses Domino.

Enlighten the ignorant. What role do sugar cubes play in a pidyon? Silver dollars I know about; sugar cubes, not so much.

Ugar and garlic don’t go off.
The seuda of a pidyon haben is like 80 fasts. Because of this we give out non perishable food to stretch the seuda beyond. I put a clove of garlic in to the cholent and a duct cube (crushed) into the challah dough.

AFAIK, plain sugar doesn’t need a hechsher.

Because joining in the seuda of a pidyon haben is a big segula, it's customary to distribute garlic cloves and sugar cubes to those attending. Both of these items can be used in cooking other dishes so that all the people who partake of the dish can have the zechus.

Both items can last a while before being used.

She was explaining what sugar cubes have to do with a Pidyon Haben.

Eating from the seudah of a Pidyon Haben is considered equivalent to fasting 80 times.

Because neither sugar cubes nor garlic cloves spoil, it is customary to give them out at a Pidyon Haben for participants to take home. This way they can be incorporated into many meals to come, making many other meals part of the same Seudah.

One suggestion from lymnok is to put the garlic clove into the cholent, and to crush the sugar cube into the challah dough, making the Shabbos meal the seudah of the Pidyon Haben.

As far as my experience goes, everyone uses Domino brand sugar. All local Williamsburg/BP/KJ etc.groceries should carry this brand.

Sugar doesn't need a hechsher.
