I don’t even know what quark cheese is? Is there anything similar I’d be familiar with? Do they sell it in the states? I live oot so I doubt I’d find it here.

In the US its called farmers cheese. If you're not CY, friendship and breakstone brands make it and it's widely available in regular supermarkets.

No its not!!
They sell tnuva quark cheese in bp lakewood stores but I dont know about oot.
As far as I know there isnt a replacement.
