Anyone have a really good east recipe for meatballs? Can be sweet and sour or just regular.
Main thing is it should be quick and easy..

Meatballs: 2 lb Chop meat + 2 eggs + 2/3 C flavored bread crumbs + handful raw rice
Sauce: 2 cans tomato sauce + 1 jar marinara sauce + 2 cans jellied cranberry sauce + drop lemon juice
Boil sauce, add meatballs, simmer 45 - 60 minutes

I also saw a really easy recipe on Between Carpools that I've tried and it's yum and so easy

I mix cranberry sauce with tomato sauce. You can add brown sugar if you like it really sweet

My favorite way to make meatballs! Sadly I don't always have time to sit over the sauce.

I don’t find it such a big job. I just throw everything together.
I Updated that I also make the meatballs all the time.

I usually prepare my food to cook when I'm out of the house (oven or crockpot) so I don't have time for it to cook 1.5 hours when I get home. If I were home during the day it wouldn't be hard - it just takes time.

You can't do them in the crockpot?

Not that sauce. It takes an hour and a half of actual bubbling for the flavors to develop.

I do the marinara and cranberry in the crockpot.

Meatballs need 6 hours on low, no longer.
