I am so so sad and frustrated! (And scared!)
I honestly and truly followed diet plan and did not loose a bit of weight!

I’m so sad bc I followed this plan three years ago (when I needed to loose weight post baby) and I bH lost thirty pounds on it.

Now I’m after next baby BH and went on the plan for a few weeks already...and scale won’t budge!

Anyone had this? I can post plan if someone will be able to be helpful. Or if anyone has good recommendations for professional I can see. I can do telehealth.

Why did plan work last time, and this time not working?

Because your body learned this trick already and went straight into starvation mode- holding onto every fat cell. Yeah- it sucks. Same boat my friend.

Get your thyroid levels checked. You might have an interactive thyroid which affects metabolism. It can develop during pregnancy.

What plan was it?

If it's too low calorie, it won't work, especially if you are nursing.

Thanks! I’d be open to any advice or recommendation for a professional who can help me.

Breakfast:
1/4 nuts such as almond or walnut
1/2 cup berries
1-2 Tablespoons flax or chia seed

Lunch.
6-8oz protein
Veggie lettuce cucumbers tomatoes etc
1-2 slices whole-wheat or sourdough bread

Supper
6-8oz protein
Veggie such as lettuce broccoli etc
1 sweet potato

Any insight? I lost 30 pounds on this plan a few years ago, and now it’s not working at all, scale won’t budge Sad

Are you nursing? How on earth is this enough food? You probably need snacks as well. Do you feel full/satiated after each of these meals?
Diets don't work. Period. Eat nutritious foods you enjoy and stay physically active. Being healthy is much more important than being skinny.

Waited until I finished nursing to start diet..so nope..not nursing.
And I actually feel full/satiated and not hungry on this plan

Are you on a bc you maybe weren't on last time? Weight retension can sometimes be hormonally related. If you're so set on losing weight, it might be beneficial to talk to a nutritionist.

I agree with everyone saying to check with a doctor, just in case it's thyroid or something.

Barring that, my first guess would be that you aren't burning as many calories this time around as you were last time for whatever reason. For example, if last time it was your first baby and you were going out for walks most days, but now you're at home most of the time with a baby and toddler. Or if last time you were also exercising. Or you had more muscle.

Even a small shift can be the difference between losing weight and not losing weight. (even though it sounds like a pretty intense diet)
