Low blood sugar could be a cause. Is your child very skinny? My son is and when he was younger if he didn't eat enough at dinnertime he would wake up with nausea and vomiting in the middle of the night. Doctor prescribed bedtime snack and the issue resolved itself

Maybe this. Not terribly skinny but a very picky eater...Now I'm remembering she turned up her nose at supper last night. She may have not eaten before bed.

Thanks!! I'll keep in mind to offer her a bedtime snack.

My daughter went thru this. Please asap before you do any invasive testing, which my daughter went thru, test your child asap for lactose intolerance. It took us 4 months of my daughter suffering and constant hospital appointments and testing to bh finally figure it out. They first saw small bowel intusseption and focused on that as the cause.

Have them check for a hernia.
Can interfere with digestion causing nausea and vomiting.
