Passing a grocery in ny, flying to Israel soon, what can I get you can't get there for family? Snacks/candy.

We like things from trader Joe's.

Things like kettle corn, pretzels with peanut butter in them and chex mix are available but only in super American areas and are pretty pricey.

I'd ask your family what they miss.

They're sold in huge abundance here - many different different brands and flavors.
Seems she just never buys it.

It's really based on personal preference so better to ask them. I would find it so weird if my US relatives brought me tradition soups!
For kids the more exotic US candies can be fun. (Like multi colored licorice etc). Adults may like interesting spice blends

They don't have chocolate leben in Israel, only plain, strawberry or vanilla.
Israeli mix the plain one with chocolate milk powder to make chocolate leben.

You can bring nut bars - like Kind Bars or similar.

A lot of the things mentioned above are available here, depending on which city they live in. I would find it really strange if someone brought those things as gifts brought from america. Probably best to ask them what they like. Or see what novelty products you find in New York, and ask here if it's something that can be purchased in Israel.

I like pam baking spray
Stuff from trader joes
Parm cheese
Nosh that we can’t buy here ( can’t think of specific stuff offhand)
Flavored coffee
It’s been a long time since I’ve had anyone who could bring me stuff. I don’t know what I would ask for

Yes you can get lots of things here. Ranging from more expensive to outrageous pricy(if you grew up with US pricing)

American candy is more expensive here. If they are candy people, get jolly ranchers,.mike n ikes, fruit by the foot, etc
Again, that stuff can be found in Israel, but it's more expensive so they might not buy it as often
