Complete privacy, no Windows from your home or the neighbors overlooking pool area
Access to a clean, decent bathroom, no portapotty
Big shallow that a child can easily stand in
Saltwater
Very clean water and grounds
Nice to have goggles, puddle-jumpers, tubes etc

Please don't get a diving board! Speaking as a lifeguard it's a huge risk and can cause serious injuries. As for a water slide please do you research as I also think they can be dangerous.
Also please check with your insurance what you need.
Also important to have basic life saving equipment (pole, ring..) and a fully stocked first aid kit. I'm sure this will attract customers.

Could Not agree more about saltwater! I rent pools every summer but now I only do saltwater, just incomparable. So much more pleasant and refreshing!

Built in kiddie pool is always a good idea if you’re still in the building stage

Lounge chairs that are comfy with umbrellas

What I like when we rent a pool

Shallow water that's shallow enough and big enough for 4 year olds, not just for my 8 year old, with steps for me to sit on while I watch them.

When the pool is advertised as heated, make sure it's actually warm enough. Too many times that rented "heated" pools had my kids standing on the side and shivering from the cold, not moving or swimming because it was too cold to enjoy.

Bathroom

Lounge chairs or some other place to sit and put down dry clothes

Please build a proper bathroom, not a portapotty. If I see a portapotty, I'd pee on your grass.

I rent pretty often and second many of the previous suggestions:; privacy, a big enough shallow, and access to a bathroom. What would elevate the experience is a hot tub ,water slide and lots of pool toys.
Towels is an added service which would probably hike up the price and personally I'd rather use my own clean towels.
OP would you mind sharing about how much it costs to put in a pool? It's something I've been dreaming of for a while.

I have a pool that I rent out, let me tell you this, someone mentioned here affordable she pays $60. This price is not for a luxury pool. Either you don't have all amenities and go for cheap or you get all luxury and pay a price. I have a heated pool, salt water system, jacuzzi, water slide, lounge chairs, portable toilet- but the flushable one it has a sink too, full privacy. and I charge $150 an hour and its very busy.

Right. Even $200 an hour is going amount for a luxury pool. $60 is for a plain simple pool, no extras added.
