although there's another thread with a list of parenting books, I'm putting this in its own thread as it's different than the other Jewish books on chinuch
this book is written for a general audience though it's written by a frum couple
the book is called Saving Childhood - protecting our children from the national assault on innocence
and it's by Michael and Diane Medved

and even if our children don't attend public school and even if we don't have a TV, I think this book is very important reading
