I am putting new floor in my entranceway and hallway, I love the look and durability of porcelain but I can’t bring myself to put down such a hard floor with little kids and elderly parents. Any tips?

LVT is incredibly durable if you get quality. We just took out a lot of tile and replaced it with LVT, so much better now. It’s softer if something falls, not slippery when wet. My kids roller blades and drag chairs all over, not a single scratch. Our contracted tested different LVT samples by scraping keys across them and we picked the most durable.

Good advice above. Lower your chances of paying a visit to the emergency room with your little kids or elderly parents by getting LVT.
