Hi all! I have a lot of migraines and haven't been wearing a sheitel for a while except for simchos. Going back to work now so have to buy something that I can manage for daily use. Is it true that a lace top sheitel is more comfortable? Is there a way to get that and still make it acceptable tznius-wise? I live in a very yeshivish neighborhood and don't want to stand out.....
Also, what brands and sheitel machers would you recommend (in Lakewood).
Other than that, I need a large or XL cap, basic brown color with highlights, shoulder length....Really not particular except for the comfort...

I find tightness, clips pinning the wig to my hair, and hair in my face all contribute to being unbearable to wear on a day to day basis. I wear a hat fall that just has a cap on the very top and no hair up there. I have them remove the clips on the wig. And I find it easy and breezy to wear every day with a small brimmed hat.

I may do that with a band fall (hats are usually too tight for me)....but would love something a little nicer looking...

If you are looking for a new wig and a good fit I would recommend going to Miriam Rosenberg in lakewood. She sells different companies and helps you find a good piece and will also advice about cut if you want. She’s careful with the fit and patient. I didn’t buy a new wig lately.. I think they’re quite expensive these days- just forewarning you

Lacetop wigs are so comfortable! You can get the lace lined so it’s less natural looking.
