Hi.
I'm really getting mad, can any wonderful ladies please help me get to the bottom of this??
I have a terrible smell like moldy eggs coming from my kitchen. when ever I use hot water it happens and in the winter whenever it rains its literally unbearable.
I am having a plumber come to look at it but meanwhile would anyone know what it could be????
I live in Israel if it makes a difference

It sounds like a wetness, mold issue. When there is mold, when it rains outside, the mold wets again and becomes active. If it's happening when you use hot water, it may be around the sink piping.

Gas leak. In the US, moldy egg smell is put in gas lines so u know when there is a leak. But it does seem like you may have a mold issue.

Call back the plumber. Give him the details. Ask him if he thinks you need a plumber or someone else.

It's probably something in the sewer. When you use the hot water it heats it so you're smelling the steam coming out of your pipes.
Mold smells totally different than what you're describing.
You need to call a plumber to clean the drain.

It sounds like a sewer issue. There should be a flap at the bottom of the pipe and if it doesnt close properly, the sewer smell comes up your drain. Something like that. It happened to us and the plumber had us call a sewer specialist. Call a plumber.
