My third grade DD is reading more and more. I think I once read here that a school in Chicago has an extensive list of vetted secular books.

How can I access it?

She love books that are parts of series, she’s been reading Ramona and Cupcake Diaries; any suggestions are very welcome!

Thank you!

I found this list helpful, she actually read the series herself and gives comments on each one. Each series has the reading level next to it. My daughter read many series based on this list. It generally has more recnt series than kosher books, which I found helpful.

If you want personal recommendations, here are series my daughter read around that age (check reading levels, I can't quite remember what she read when) that she really enjoyed and I personally read at least 1-3 books in each series myself to ensure they are appropriate (I can't vouch for every book in every series here). In no particular order:
-Adventures of Sophie Mouse
-Isadora Moon
-Princess in Black
-Ballet Slippers by Patricia Reilly Giff
-The Worst Witch
-Jewel Kingdom
-Boxcar Children
-Cam Jansen
-Encyclopedia Brown
-Candy Fairies
-Rainbow Magic
-Unicorn Magic
-Magic Animal Friends
-Cobble Street Cousins
-Mercy Watson
-Unicorn Princesses
-Daisy Dawson
-Mrs. Noodlekugel
-Kitty by Paula Harrison
-Dragon Masters
-Flat Stanley
-Magic School Bus chapter books
-Gooney Bird
-Mrs. Piggle Wiggle
-Jada Jones
-Magic Tree House
-Rescue Princesses
-Zoey and Sassafrass
-Secret Kingdom by Rosie Banks
-Fairy Unicorns by Zanna Davidson
-Bella Donna
-Pippi Longstocking
-Never Girls by Kiki Thorpe
-Polly Diamond
-Mia Mayhem
-Diary of an Ice Princess
-Wild Fairies
-Questioneers chapter books
-Fairy Realm by Emily Rodda
-Jim Henson's Enchanted Sisters
-Zoe's Rescue Zoo

You may have to read or skim through first to see that fits your hashkafa.
For example, some don't want to read about "witches".
Good luck!
Lots of older series and classics are cleaner and better. I would start there. You can look at them at the library to prescreen.

Menucha publishers has some approved secular books on their website. (Check the censor level they put on the books individual listing)

Define what "kosher" means to you. Some people object to any mention of witches, magic, fairies, dinosaurs, boys and girls being friends, science fiction and so on and so forth. The Anne of Green Gables series is a great example of the sweet innocence of a bygone era, but there is a boy in Anne's class who likes her in a boy-girl way and eventually marries her a few volumes into the series. I find that harmless, but some would censor the series for that alone, even if the books didn't mention December holiday celebrations. Similarly, the All of a Kind Family series is quite innocent, but some imas here nix it because the family is not frum enough to suit them. IDK why. They keep kosher, fast on YK and are ShomerShabbos and YomTov, which wasn't easy for an immigrant family on the Lower East Side in the early 1900s. The father is a working man and not a Talmid Chochom and the kids go to public school, so what? That was the reality at the time. There were virtually no Jewish day schools, not even for boys and for sure not for girls. But some people don't want their kids to know that there is a world out there full of people who aren't charedi Jews, or that once upon a time Jewish girls didn't go to BY because there was no such thing.
OTOH if you're already asking about secular books, you're probably not one of them.
