Do you give your students birthday presents? And if you do how much do you spend? And any suggestions for a 4yr old?

Seit here. I let the child choose something from my prize bag. If they have a session that day.

If I remember. Sorry, I'm human, I'm juggling a lot, I often only notice after it's passed. But theoretically I would love to be that thoughtful. I would do it as a gesture, not something valuable, so a small toy or sticker book from a dollar store or amazing savings.

I'm a morah, not a SEIT, but I generally give a dollar tree item for my students on their birthdays.

I'm a therapist. I give preschool kids an extra prize from my prize box on whatever session falls closest to their birthday. Older kids we just have a fun conversation about their birthday.

No. They get a chanukah, Purim and end of year gift from me.

Works because I usually have those prizes on hand anyway.

I’m a therapist. If I forget (which I often do), or if I don’t know before, we take a walk to the vending machine and they can buy a soda and a treat. Otherwise I might pick up a treat I know they like beforehand.
