She lines up all her dolls, toys teddies and still plays every day.

The content she gives over is very mature, she wishes to be a teacher one day.

Just wondering because she can do this for aages in her room all by herself and does it nearly every day.

She also uses loads of props whiteboards, charts point systems, tokens etc...
.
Makes me a little bit uneasy sometimes that shes so into it....like shouldnt she be growing out of fantasy world at this age??

Im too embaressed to ask any of her friends mothers right now..

Also when she has friends over they do join in, but I always wonder if they actually want to...

Any thought pls, especially if you have a daughter the same age..

Thanks so much.

I have a son that age, but my niece who is 10 is obsessed with playing schools too. She does it all very professionally. It's cute to watch. And she's a very mature 10 year old. Seems normal to me

My daughter is 11 and a half and plays school with her friends too. If she enjoys it's not a problem.

Totally normal and when she stops in the next couple of years you will wax nostalgic for it…

She seems to playing school on a higher and appropriate age level.

Enjoy the sweetness…

Playing school at that age is normal.

But it is preferable to play with friends rather than alone with dolls.

Does your DD have friends?

My 12yr old DD loves playing teacher, she doesn't call it playing, just "teaching", as in , "Mommy, I'm in the middle of a lesson, coming soon!"
I think it's an adorable and healthy hobby

I’m a fifth grade teacher. My students always ask me for extra copies to take home to play school.

Sounds like she upgraded this to her age level.
At this age my son tried to make movies with his lego figures.
I used to draw my own newspaper.
My daughter would go to help out in a playgroup - she was reliable enough and loved young kids!

Maybe your daughter could try that too.

Absolutely normal! My kids used to play school well into 5th 6th grade, mostly with friends, but one DD used to engage in fantasy play with dolls and mentchies even at that age. As a teen, she’s still very imaginative but expresses it in a more mature way. She enjoys writing fantasy stories just for fun, makes up stories in her head about random people she sees on the street. Some kids are just naturally more into these things. As long as there’s a healthy balance and it doesn’t take the place of socializing with real friends, or participating in real life, there’s no harm in that.

Kids like this are usually very creative. Enjoy her and let her enjoy this fun stage in life.

Sounds normal
Maybe she’s doesn’t have actual people to play with
At that age I played it with my siblings or just played with the props and had imaginary people

A ten year old doesn't have to give up fantasy and imagination so soon. Let her enjoy being a child.
