My 4 yr old ds has extremely heightened senses. Especially his hearing and smelling. He gets hysterical from certain noises and smells. He also cannot handle anything that doesn't go his way (out of the norm for a child his age). He wasn't approved for OT services through the DOE.
He really needs help though.
What kind of therapy would help with this?
I'm in Brooklyn, for reference.
