Depending on size these are top of the line. Snug but comfy fit, wick away moisture and feel dry for hours.
They are pricey. For my younger daughter I’ve always bought from Walmart, target or old navy. Longer bike shorts for girls. They worked well and were cheap.
Now one of my girls are older and don’t fit in those anymore so we got these.

Get cotton, try the smallest size at old navy.

I wear loose cotton shorts made by under moments. I think they're called pettipants on Amazon. 10 dollars a pair and very comfortable.
