I thought Kosher Discount 4909 13, generally has good prices, even on non sale items!
Until I saw that I paid $7.89 for a pound of Farmer Cheese at Kosher Discount, while Super 13 at 5214 13 (not KRM, many blocks away, who has amazing specials) is selling it for $5.89 lb.
I know, I know, you have to check for sales.
I just didnt think it would be a difference of $2.00 per lb.

Super 13 is selling farmer cheese for $5.89 now. and I think KRM had it on sale last week, also for under $6. I just assumed Kosher Discount wouldnt be $2 more per pound, because they have a reputation for good prices. I was wrong.
I think in the beginning Kosher Discount offered very good prices even on non sale items, and they dont any more.

I'm in israel.
The differences in groceries are huge here. And yes, even milk (which has a max price by the government) you can find cheaper and some places charge you the max amount. Same with eggs.

No one has any good prices. Things are expensive, and will stay so for a while. Austerity is always important, it's going to be so even more now.
