I feel like I need to replace it every month. Is this normal? I do not like the velcro ones. So talking about the ones with elastic band attached (order from Aliexpress). Anything else I can use?

I replace mine every 2-3 months. Its also possible that you need a bigger size.

I heard that you can run it under water and let it dry and it would help. Not sure if that's true though never did it myself

I only use Milanos, they do stretch but last waaay longer than a couple of months.

My problem is that the fuzzy hair from under my pony- comes out in the back under the wig grip. If the wind blows and my shaitel gets slightly blown up, you can see my hair that slipped out from the pony holder. If the wig grip would be tight enough it would work to hold up my hair.
