My daughter is graduating from high school in Israel and we are planning to fly in for the graduation celebration. Now many of her teachers have been just GREAT, giving her( and the other girls)so much of their time and energy doing much more than their job actually required. We would love to show our appreciation and gratefulness. BUT. Being that it's not just one teacher but quite a few, we cannot buy sth bulky- we do not have that much space in our luggage. Neither can we buy sth too expensive, we wont't manage it with the costs for all the gifts adding up.On the other hand I would not like to give some cheap stuff. I thought of finding nice necklaces or kerchiefs, but would that be a good idea, given I do not know their tastes?A gift voucher looks way too impersonal to me and looks like we are paying them for what they did. What do you think?
So if anyone has any ideas- would highly appreciate them!

Iā€™m pretty sure they would all prefer a gift voucher.

This question always comes up in the Facebook mom's groups I'm in and all the teachers always chime in and say a nice note from the student and a gift card Smile. As a teacher I agree... Unless you really know someone well it's hard to get gifting right, and most of just appreciate a heartfelt thanks. I save those notes in a file and pull them out on hard days.

I like to send a small but nice-looking fruit platter with a nice note. Yes, I realize you can't travel with that šŸ˜‰
