I really loved her movies Fill the void and the Wedding plan it was really touching both movies.

She’s frum- oy!

I liked her other shows but this just looks like a a CW spin off.

I think it is, to be honest. Also how easy it is to get involved in a weird power relationship or something. I think this happens also sometimes in some communities.

Not only frum, she is a Breslover chassid and a BT, she is not the producer but director and writer and she always ask for a broche of her Rav before making a serie/film.

What a strange looking series. To be honest I cant take the leading role seriously as a chasid Smile

He is a secilar actor and his get up just doesnt even look real because of his other roles 🤷🏻‍♀️
Besides for that this looks really really strange and something that, unlike her orher movies, will not be accepted in the israeli charedi communities.

No it was filmed long before Walder was exposed.

Pretty sure all the main actors in her productions are secular, otherwise she could never have these plots. I have no idea why this would be different.

I believe she publicly no longer identifies as charedi, just as plain frum.
And why can’t an Israeli frum filmmaker tackle this topic? Better to brush it under the rug?
