I’m priced out of lkwd. With 6 kids in a really small house. It’s depressing for me bec we have decent jobs.
That is why I got annoyed when someone said we should be grateful for the high home prices.
It’s becoming a rich person city like New York was. We’re only the rich can afford to buy.

Personally I’d rather my kids not marry rich or live off their in laws money. That isn’t a goal or want for us.

I'm not saying it makes sense for everyone to move to Lkwd. But its a big problem that Bklyn is not livable. Be grateful that you are not in that position.

Most families are not moving for big beautiful houses. They just wantba small house with a yard that they can call their own.

Please reread my post carefully and you will see it was not meant for the people who you think it was meant for.
Such a big exodus from Brooklyn cannot possibly be only from people who are priced out of Brooklyn.
Many wanted the suburbs and they pulled their girls out of their school setting to put them into "any
school that will except them."
