Someone once said here they make chicken over pasta. Looking for the water ratio?

I can't imagine you would cook it long enough for chicken to cook through without the pasta turning into a mushy mess?

They said they cooked open... So it would crisp it up. I've done farfel that was mushy but great flavor.

One way you can do it is start the chicken cooking first and midway and the pasta and extra water. That’s how I’ve heard of it. It could be there are other ways too

So I forgot to bread the chicken, just spiced. Pepper sank to the bottom, so would skip that the next time. But the one bag pearled couscous/2 cups water/2 pieces chicken ratio worked very well. We like our chicken well done, so next time will cook closed 1.5 hours, then open 20-30 min.
