Anyone care to chime in on what in the world is happening? Savings are getting destroyed. Investments in crypto have lost 70% of its value, sometime more. Dogecoin is down a staggering 95% off its high. When will it end? Not to mention many economists are now calling for a recession either later this year or in 2023. Are the good times over?

Dogecoin was always a joke.

Bitcoin, eretheum, Luna were more shocking. I think it will still fall more. Until it recovers same as before. (Not Luna of course)

Stable stocks always rebound. Mostly. (I lost thousands when lucent when bankrupt…)

Stocks are intended to be a long game. Dogecoin, well, I'll be shocked if it every hits over 35 cents again. I do think it can go back up to 12ish cents given time. (I'm not an economist. This is not financial advice, just musings of an ima who likes to read finance bytes.)

Now is an excellent time to invest. You can get amazing deals on most stocks.

Maybe. But will those that invest today be rewarded 2 years from now? Even if the market is headed lower.

No. This is not just the typical bear market, it's a full on crash.
Look at the rrp rates and the treasury bond rates.

But it may take a looooong time to see returns. You have to be willing To wait it out.

And you have to trust that the companies you choose to invest in don't go bankrupt.

Get index funds. Not specific stocks.
And yes be ready to ride it out for a while.

Even if they don’t go bankrupt they can still fall much more and can take years to climb back up.
As always. The stock market is a gamble.

(I have some high dividend stocks that reinvest. So right now getting at a bargain. But I’m not sure I’m ready to lock up fresh money right now)

Also bec I have years until I retire I figure my 401k is buying now at a discount.
For ppl retiring soon it’s probably terrifying.

What are rrp rates, and how do they indicate that this is a full on crash?

Is bitcoin still worth it?

Also are the treasury bonds worth locking up money for?
