Preferred. Especially for shabbos.
Bonus if there’s a takeout place we can buy food for shabbos that carries meal mart or similar hashgacha meat.
Initially was thinking of DC area, but wonder how it’s been since Covid there and if attractions will be closed for the holiday weekend?

I’ve been to DC over 7/4 and it’s abuzz. Huge parade. Everything’s open. Fireworks are amazing. BUT it’s hot and swampy. It’s a really good idea for that weekend.
Saratoga Springs has a chabad and you can buy food at the price chopper in Albany. The fireworks there are amazing too!

Boston, Newport, Onset, Lake George, Tannersville, Lincoln NH - DC is great, but driving north and/or near the water will likely mean cooler temperatures
