Please be aware, that Miami charges to be in the choir. Maybe other choirs do as well.

There is also the Yeshiva Boys Choir.

They’re teaching the boys valuable skills, of course they charge. It’s like any extracurricular.

I agree it is worth it to pay.

But some people might think that since their kids are performing in professional for-profit choirs
that belonging to a choir is free.

Right I know children in shir vshevach choir (Monsey based) And the children do not pay. The choir is benefiting monetarily

About 20 years ago there was a professional girls choir.

They didn't charge a fee, but each girl had to buy a certain amount of tickets - like $200.

So their mother, sisters, grandmother and aunts had to commit to going to the choir concert.
