Whenever I got PT for my children before the insurance would give a limited amount of visits (like 6 then 3 then 1 at a time) and everytime a pre approval was needed from the company for more visits. I wanted to know if I go to a hospital to get pt would it be the same or over there they give unlimited visits.

Haven’t done PT thru hospital in a while, but iirc, they had us on a program let’s say for 6 weeks. It could be they got approval and based the program on how long they thought that issue would take to work out? Not sure... this was to supplement at home EI PT.
But we may have had approval for longer too- but we didn’t continue.
