I need to change my current HMO that my kids are on because I'm pregnant and got onto Jersey care which will cover my huge hospital deductible on my current insurance. But the hospital does not accept Amerigroup HMO which my kids are enrolled in.
I confirmed with their pediatrician and dentist that they both accept Wellcare and Aetna Better Health. which one would you recommend I switch to? Is one better than the other?

I had the exact same issue, and I was told that they're both the same level of mediocre.

Thanks so much! so Amerigroup is really better than both though? just curious. I have to switch anyway until after I give birth...

I don't know. We weren't on JerseyCare until I got pregnant.
I do know that whenever my kids need a specialist there's really no good options that take ABH.
You can try calling Bikur Cholim and ask them what they think.

Aetna Better Health was good for me, while I was pregnant. I had no payments at all on services at my CNM.
Dental was good too- I had a ton of cavities filled, no payment.
I would recommend it.

hackensack meridian health does not
