Hi, do I reconcile credit cards?
I don't see that option on the the reconcile tab?

If yes what type of account is it

Ok bh figured out how to do it,
Now
For some reason the cc has a beginning balance, can anyone guide me how to change that?
This is a brand new cc opened 3.3.22 and shouldn't have an opening balance?

Look at the cc register and you can see whAts there in the cleared balance

In reconcile page it says opening Balance is 7k,
I don't see that anywhere?!?!
The opening balance is 0!

usually this happens because when you connected the credit card to banking it took the balance before the first transaction it pulled, and it put in the balance a transaction crediting opening balance equity (and it will look like its reconicield) you have to go to the register and delete that transaction

The opening balance is 0! |
If it doesn’t show anything that made that balance then it could be it was entered when the credit card was open in quickbooks. If that’s the case you would need to enter a journal entry to offset the opening balance
