I’m considering a move to Lakewood/Jackson/TR for the 2023-24 school year. My daughter goes to bais yaakov Boro park. What schools would be similar for a heimish type family? What is the education like? Is it warm? Are the girls nice? How hard to get in?

Going into 2nd when you want to move?
So now she's going into 1st?
Just clarifying.

Not similar to bybp and not heimish. I agree with bnos bracha, bnos penina and bnos haddasah.

What type are you? Coming from bais yaakov of boro park is very vague since its all types. Does ur dh wear a shtreimel ? Are u more chilled out or more to frummer side ? Do u want yiddish speaking? Do you want a school with heimish clientele or you don't care ? We need more details.

Why do people keep on recommending Bnos Brocha as a heimishe option together with Bnos Hadassa and Bnos Penina?
Bnos Brocha is a wider range "community school feel". But it is no way heimishe.

It’s not heimish but it’s the closest to a community school which is a what bybp is. So, many kids from there fit into bnos bracha well.

Bnos bracha is more accepting and did accept lots of heimish families recently. They don't care if you wear a shtreimel as long as u have good values and your frum. It's a very warm bais yaakov school. That's why it's being an option for heimish families. They have more then a handful of heimish families in the school already.

Ok.
OP, if you're looking for typical Lakewood schools that have a bit of a mix, look into Bais Faiga, Nachalas, Bnos Devorah, Bnos Orchos Chaim, Moreshes, and Tiferes.
Some are a bit more yeshivish than others. Some have more of a heimishe crowd.
It's total mazel where has space.

Honestly at this point I think almost every school has at least a handful of heimish families. Lakewood never had so many families moving from brooklyn , so the heimsish families living in lkwd had bais rochel and the likes. But now they can't just stick to those few schools and some heimsih families coming from bais yaakov just want a regular litvish bais yaakov , so you will find a shtreimel or up hat in almost every lkwd school. It's the minority, but they will have.

because there is a certain type coming from bybp with no specific school in Lakewood . Girls with chasidish background who are from solid frum homes but don't speak Yiddish.

No shtreimel, more chilled but we are a frum family and would want a school with girls with good hashkafos. My husband would want her exposed to some Yiddish here and there though it’s not a must. Clientele doesn’t have to be heimish, just want her to feel comfortable and fit in.

Tiferes chaya doesn’t have any litvish families but they’re not extreme chassidish. They’re frum, solid heimish families, and the girls don’t really speak Yiddish at home. Its more yeshivish & heimish than Bnos bracha & Bnos penina.
