and what did you gain from it?

Posting the Lakewood forum because I want to know specifically about the NJ programs.

We took the FTHB course from the LRRC, and are now bh under contract for a house.

We are trying to figure out what, if anything, we can gain from this program. There's some kind of $10K grant towards closing costs? A better rate?
mortgage broker has not been at all helpful in this matter, hes rushed and busy and really doesnt give us enough time.
If I knew what to ask him about it would be so helpful.
Any info appreciated

I know I’ve heard an ad on 107.9 from Sinai Susholtz of FM Home Loans (mortgages), saying he does those $10k grants.

I did the first time homeowners abt 5 yrs ago. we only had to put down 5% and got a much lower interest rate. I didnt get a 10k grant
We did not do it through LLRC. We went through Santander directly
