Seasoned Mommies, please help!
My 5 year old son has been dealing with a toileting regression for the last couple months. When we trained him close to age 3, although I never felt confident that he got it, he was trained. Now he soils his underwear regularly, the only time he uses the toilet is if I catch it in time and physically take him to the bathroom. This is only for bowel movements, he is ok with urinating.
He is in OT but it hasn't helped this yet, the pediatrician wasn't too helpful.
Please share any thoughts, suggestions, remedies. Thank you!

Constipation, pinworms, parasites, I'm sure can be other causes too but these are first to come to mind.

I would treat as a gut/nervous system issue and take off gluten and dairy, and give probiotics.
Also check for strep.
