Tops of my slices of Baked Salmon look translucent and too dark pink even when centers are fully cooked.
Whats giving my fresh (not frozen) salmon that raw look on the tops of the salmon slices even when its perfectly done?

Perhaps heat is only coming from the bottom of your oven and tops get heated last? Can you check and make sure upper element is working?

This recipe says to cover it. Ill try not covering it.
