Would you wear it? If so, for weekday? Shabbos? In between?

Shabbes afternoon, chol hamoed, bris.

Thanks for the feedback. I am small on top and have a postpartum belly, and I thought this cut might work to disguise it.

I believe the ruffle on top is just an asymmetrical ruffle, not an actual waistline.

It’s a great cut for this purpose

Meh. I'd wear it at home to the table on Shabbat and YT instead of a "Shabbos robe" in hot weather, when a robe is too hot. IMHO it looks flimsy, cheap, and poorly made.

It’s not so sheer on the bottom. The lining is a few inches shorter than the hem. Mazal hazut often has generous gems, so the lining could be let down.

IMO it looks maternity.

I'm wearing the dress right now. I like it. It's not super flattering, but it hides my stomach well and definitely doesn't make me look pregnant. The sleeves are bit uncomfortable because of the elastic above the elbow, but it's nothing I can't get used to. It's not sheer on the bottom, and it looks well made and good quality.

What age would you say would be too old for such a dress?

Looks super comfy! Wear it in good health OP. In Israel it's very in style now for Shabbat wear. Ages I would say 16-35.

My 55-year-old sister-in-law has this dress. I thought it was a tad young for her but nothing drastic.

I love it!
I'd buy it, and see what it looks like on you. It can be really flattering.
It's not for weekday, I'd wear it for shabbos for sure.

Thanks! I do like how it looks on me, but I'm in my mid-40s (though they say I look younger), and I'm concerned that it might be too young for me. Opinions?

It's sweet! I like it. I do think it's a bit young though.
But! Today all ages wear tiered dresses... so hmm... not sure.
Do YOU feel comfortable in it? Then go with it!

I'm not sure. I like it and want to make it work, but I would like to hear from others what they think.

Try it on. It's the only way to know. You have to like it on yourself, not us.

I would wear it if it looked good on me. I'm younger than you though, but about 10 years...

Not my style. I don't like ruffles/the elastic gathers in the sleeves very much, and the slanted seams look like a sewing project gone wrong. But I'm sure if you like the style you can carry it off. Pretty color.

Seems more like a Shabbat dress than anything I am likely to wear mid-week for work.

It depends on your looks!
You are in your mid 40s and just had a baby! Looking younger than your age…
I wouldn’t care so much

If anything, I would wear it for Shabbos. Although it looks like one of those dresses that are too dressy for shabbos but too casual for a simcha.
Although it really depends where you live.
