It may appear they don't make it because everyone has a doona, but they do. I plan on buying one in August iyh in my 9th month.

Where are you getting it from? And are you getting a new car seat? If so what car seat are you getting?

Amazon has it
I was planning to get the lightest Graco infant car seat. It's about $120-140

Do you know which seat that is?
Also, are you planning to get the grace snap n go, or a different one? I see this one that’s baby trend, but it says universal, so I hope it really is!!

I'm just warning you, these are so hard to push on sidewalks, even the doona is easier

It's not really universal. It won't click to connect to car seat. It has straps you can use to secure the seat. Pain in the neck and the wheels aren't as easy to maneuver as the Graco.

So I should go with the graco snap n go? Or is that hard to push too? (I live in the five towns, for reference.)

Snap n go has front wheels that rotate making it easier to push. It's not double wheels. I've never seen someone look like it was too hard to push. If you buy from Graco and sign up for emails, you get 15 percent off. I just checked the one I want. The seat is 120 and with 15 off it's like 101. The wheels part is about 110 on Amazon I think
Eta Graco has the snugrider elite on their site for 119 before 15 percent off.

If you have a used baby store near you, many times they have these types of things barely used for like $25
I have an old kolcraft universal car seat carrier that's lasted 10 kids. Yes you have to strap in car seat but if I was using a stroller, I'd need to strap in the navy. It's just part of parenting.
Since I only use it on errands, I don't need an amazing all terrain push. Worked very well for me in Costco last week, at the doctor, etc
Paid about $50, that's like $5/kid 😂
Went through 4 car seats of 3 different brands...
I really don't see it having enough downsides to instead spend on something much more pricey.

The doona is really the most convenient car seat/stroller.
Although it is expensive, you can find some gently used ones for 250-300.
You can look on Craigslist or the Yad Shniya WhatsApp status/Instagram page.

Def go with the Graco snap and go, NOT the universal one. The straps on the universal felt so unsafe to me. The Graco car seat clicks right into the Graco snap and go, it's super easy to push, has a big basket, cup holders, folds in a cinch, and lightweight to lift. It's handlebar is also more comfortable for me then the doona, the doona isn't great for taller people in my opinion. Also Graco car seats last longer for bigger/taller babies than the doona. Hatzlacha and bshaa tova umutzlachat!
