I called references and got good info. I met the babysitter and saw the space. Nothing screams red flags but I just have a bad feeling. Do I trust it? Or am I being crazy? My baby is a year old.

Yes, she's not my first. I happen to have had some bad experiences before. So I'm not sure if I should trust my intuition or I'm just traumatized.

Trust your intuition. My mom had this and there ended up being a good reason for the feeling.

I would say to trust your gut. If you can find another babysitter that you would feel more comfortable with then do that
