New York trip: Never been before:
Suggestions for a well located hotel to stay for 2 nights near tznius clothing stores and kosher eating? Borough park? Flatbush? No car available

or park something hotel 12th and 48th street

You can try the Days Inn on 36th Street. Don't go in and out in the evening but in daylight should be fine.
Otherwise if you're fine taking the bus to get to 13th Ave there are many options on 39th Street in the lower avenues like Wyndham Garden Inn or Holiday Inn Express.

Or Pointe Plaza Hotel in Williamsburg.

The good thing about NYC is the public transportation is great! You can stay anywhere you want and it's easy to get around.
