Hamleys toy shop in town but be prepared to spend there or tell the kids it's strictly for looking only Very Happy

Town in general is fun if you're not doing serious shopping.

Thank you! A cool vibe restaurant for my teenager...would that be tuk tuk?
We would stay at a Hilton or other chain hotel with points. Any recommendation?
Would you recommend buckingham palace or Windsor castle? We only have time for 1 of them.

Check online what day ull be there and go to changing of the guards if its on either in Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle.
Currently the Queen is living at Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace is under renovations. (She usually goes to Scotland in the summer).
Windsor is about a 45 min drive from Golders Green nearer Heathrow and Buckingham Palace is in town in London and easily accessible by tube. Depends on your time and logistics.

You see a lot of landmarks from up high on the eye.
It's definitely something to do when there.

I don't know about hotels.

Guess that depends if you're going to Buckingham Palace or Windsor

We aren't big on points here like you are in the USA so I personally have no idea. But I'm sure Google or TripAdvisor can help.

I've stayed in hilton park lane - thats the one near hyde park. The view from our room was very cool and it's a massive hotel so every couple of floors has its own lounge and I felt like I could actually get lost in there. Apart from that nothing particularly wow about it, the room was more or less a regular hotel room on the smaller side.

Do you want to stay in town or nearer to kosher food? It's about 30min by train from gg to town. In gg itself there aren't any nicer hotels, in hendon a short walk away there is a kosher hotel - the pillar. There's also loads of kosher shops etc in hendon.
