From NY. That isn’t too much out of the way with minyan?

Depending your starting location and how you drive, West Hartford and Worcester. New haven too

West Hartford is probably your best bet en route. Boston is a much larger community where you may have an easier time finding lodging and kosher food and having more shuls to choose from, though it's a little bit out of the way.

Really any where in New England. Probably most places in CT are going to be too close to NY to significantly break up the trip, but Providence RI and Boston are good options

Have you been to Worcester lately? There is no minyan anymore and no kosher food. It's a dead town. And there isn't an eruv and no hotel anywhere near walking distance to the shul.
