My husband barely takes off from work, and is planning on taking off this Monday. I would love to try a very nice High end hotel in nyc for Sunday night. Any recommendations? Should we go someplace else rather? I’m imagining gardens or hot tub in a balcony under the clear beautiful sky! Waiting for some ideas!

It's going to be crazy busy, and prices will be incredibly high. Probably better to take off on a random Monday and go then.
I tend to specifically not go away during holidays- government ones or Jewish ones- because of surcharges.

Sounds like finding that in the heart of NYC will be very expensive. I mean, there are green spaces in NYC (Brooklyn Botanical Garden is lovely, Central Park is spacious and green, Governor's Island, etc.) but if you want to stay someplace surrounded by gardens, why would you choose to stay in the middle of the city?

You’re looking for a needle in a haystack. Plus if you find it (meaning, it means your standards and is not booked) it’ll be extremely expensive

Ok you’re all right. Thanks for replying. How about something in nj area. I just need the hotel to be nice and clean and not too far from food. A different day off won’t happen so fast
